Lenghu Base: 3000 T/y Lithium Carbonate Production Line Project (Phase 1)

Lithium is an important national strategic resource. With the vigorous development of 3C products and new energy vehicles, 80% of China's dependence on imports has become a "bottleneck" problem that restricts the new energy industry. The membrane separation technology innovation team has resolved the world-class technical problem of extracting lithium from high magnesium lithium ratio and low lithium grade salt lake brine waste through the self-developed "Solid-Phase Ion Binding+ Multi-effect Membrane Separation" green lithium extraction technology in salt lake brine. It has completed a series of innovations from theoretical research to industrialization, adding chips to break the international monopoly of lithium resources.

In 2018, on the basis of the stable operation of the brine Lithium carbonate pilot production line, Lenghu Jinzang Membrane New Materials Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xi'an Gold-In Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., an incubator) will implement the construction of a 10,000 ton/year battery grade Lithium carbonate project in Lenghu, Qinghai Province.

Theoretical innovation: proposing a new theory of micro-forces of membrane fouling; New functional materials and two-dimensional material functional membranes have been prepared, and a precise regulation theory of limited channel interface charge has been proposed, and precise ion separation has been achieved, the study of which is published in the Nature sub journal.

Technical Breakthrough: Developed an Anti-Pollution Ultrafiltration Membrane suitable for water quality based on micro-forces; Developed a "High-Efficiency Adsorption+Multi-Effect Membrane Separation" technology for extracting lithium from salt lake brine waste solution. 39 invention patents were authorized, and won the Second Prize Of Innovation Achievements Of China's Industry University Research Cooperation, and the Gold Medal Of China's "Internet+" Innovation And Entrepreneurship Competition.

Solid-Phase Ion-Binding Technology (SPIB): Large adsorption capacity, high adsorption efficiency, strong selectivity, short desorption cycle, and its comprehensive performance is more than 40 times better than current other products.

Membrane Separation Technology: A membrane separation integrated process with nanofiltration membrane as the core, achieving deep separation of magnesium and lithium, with a lithium recovery rate of ≥ 90%.
